So, 2 weeks ago, I cut out most of my pop, was eating pretty good . . . a meal bar or malt o meal for breakfast, a meal bar or a light sub sandwich for lunch, and a regular dinner (i.e. no fast food). Some days I would have yogurt with breakfast, and/or string cheese for a snack. I was drinking a LOT of water again, and walked with KC each night. I lost 6 lbs that week!
Last week, I went back to drinking more pop (but still less than previously), but had ham breakfast sandwiches for most breakfasts, various stuff for lunch (although, no mcd’s or bk), and regular dinner. I didn’t walk at all, and was drinking much less water. I gained back 5 of those 6 lbs. uggg
So, I have decided to get my ass back in gear. Breakfast hasn’t been good Monday or Tuesday, but lunch has been decent, and dinner regular. Not quite as much water as I should, but trying to do better. KC hasn’t walked with me thus far this week, so I decided to push the bar some. I extended the walk, and added 4 jogs on it. I am doing about 2 miles (maybe a bit more) in 32 minutes. Not so wonderful . . but it is about 50% hills. My jogs are 2 uphill and 2 downhill.
Today I doubled one of my jogs! I was proud of myself! My thighs hurt and my calves are a bit sore. My back is a bit sore too, but I think that is more posture during the day and how tight I am clenching my muscles when I run. I will be doing it tomorrow again!
I hate running . . . did I mention that? LMAO!!
