What is wrong with this picture?

So, Audrey and I were at our local grocery store today, they sell the “fake” Barbies there, and they had this pack of barbies on one of the tables.  I walked past talking to one of my friends on the phone, and had to do a double take.  I had to go back and take a picture, because . . . well, just because.  This is a sealed box, from what I could see, it had not been opened since it had been sealed at the factory.

6 beautifully dressed “barbies”, in a nice pink box, what little girl wouldn’t want this, right?

Daily Challenges 11.20.08

I will try to post these each day, as it will help me to become accountable to doing them!  I will be honest, I did not do them thus far today, and I don’t see them happening today.  I am going to try to go to bed early tonight, and we will see how that goes.

Riley Challenge of the day:

Hi Kids!

It is time for the Riley Challenge of the Day!!

We are going to do what is called a Hot Spot Fire Drill!

This is when we look around our rooms at the flat surfaces of our furniture. The desk, the dresser and the nightstands. These are the places that we will just pile things on instead of throwing them away or putting them away. These are the hot spots.

To help us clean these places up we are going to do a fire drill! We are going to set a timer for 5 minutes and see how much and can throw away and put away off of those Hot Spots!

Ready.. set…. GO!!

Your rooms will look and feel less messy when those flat surfaces are neat!!

HOLIDAY CRUISING MISSION # 24: THURSDAY: Errand Day November 20

Today is errand day and I bet you know what is coming! I have issued
you missions this week that have to do with things that need to be
mailed: Packages and Cards. While doing your errands you need to
make sure you have your mailing supplies ready. This means stamps
for your cards, boxes, markers and mailing paper if needed. When it
is time to mail those holiday cards you will be thanking me for
making you buy those stamps early!! Don’t forget on your grocery
store run to pick up any items that you can off of your meal plan and
menus list for the Holidays. Each time you make a trip to the
grocery store look over your holiday planner and see what items you
can take care of. This will really help you out when you get closer
to the holidays and find that you don’t have to run out to do a mad
dash through the grocery store where you overspend and exhaust
yourself. We are FLYing not dashing!
